The body of the plate is thick. At the center of the plate bottom are double concentric circles. The inner circle is thin while the outer one is thick. Inside the circles is the inscription of the reign mark “Made in Xuande Reign, Ming Dynasty” in regular script, which has the same characteristics with the common Xuande reign mark. The interior plate is decorated with patterns of flowers and fruit while the exterior plate is decorated with lotus flowers all around. The white and blue color embrace each other and set each other off beautifully.  

According to the report, Beijing cultural relics store has a white glazed sauce-colored flower and fruit plate with similar shape, decoration, size and style.
