Unearthed from Wuguidun Tomb, west suburb of Hefei City in 1955

There is a hole at the center of the knob, and three characters “Yi Zi Sun”vertically set on the body. It was an auspicious phrase in the Han Dynasty and meant “good for the descendants”. The characters are surrounded by linking ball pattern and next to the second and third character are paralleled petal and leaf pattern, which was similar to that of the grass leaf-pattern mirror in the Han Dynasty. The petals are made of extremely fine gold wire and gold beads and are integrated with the stems and leaves. The ornament is dazzling and shows the high level of craftsmanship in the Han Dynasty.
