The plate has foliated edge, a straight body and a flat base. Its interior is painted with a red dragon which is decorated with yellow and green colored clouds. The design is beautiful and colorful and of auspicious implication. Having inherited the traditional techniques in Ming dynasty and developed it, the Kangxi polychrome porcelain became the peak of Chinese traditional colored porcelain. This plate is exquisitely made and is a wonderful work of Kangxi polychrome porcelain.
