This Zun has a flared mouth, a contracted neck, a swelling body and a ring foot. Its neck is decorated with interlocking rosette patterns. Its shoulder is decorated with the pattern of the Eight Buddhist Emblems of good augury and has two beast-headed ears holding a loose ring on each side. Its lower belly is decorated with upturned lotus-petal patterns. Its brim and ring foot are decorated with crested wave patterns. A total of eight sets of patterns compose the whole design. The rosette is a flower with symbolic significance, which is a combination of lotus, peony and chrysanthemum. With artistic treatment, it is an ideal flower pattern of sanctity, modesty and beauty. Together with the Eight Buddhist Emblems of good augury, it means good luck and happiness. The shape of this Zun is neat; the style is simple and the blue and white color is bright and beautiful.
